Welcome To My Project
Hi baiscally this site is dedicated to second generation FireBirds, Trans AMs, Esprits, and Formulas. I am 24 and currently involved in restoring a 1979 Firebird Formula. |
My Project
Well originaly I bought a solid "looking" 79 Firebird Esprit with the intent to turn it into a Formula clone. But when I tore it down to the frame in the summer I found the car just wasn't worth it. So I scavanged the good parts off it (mostly interior) and began searching around for a more "solid" car to work with. I ran into a 79 Formula 400 with T-tops, and so I start again this time with a little more knowledge of the car and a lot more parts! Basically my plan right now is to make a merger of old and new. Right now my Formula is mostly stock. But I plan to update the car and make it more modern as I go. Smooth out the body lines shaved, digital gauges, fuel injection, updated suspension, Ect. Just make it look and act a bit more modern. If u want to know more check out my "current specs" on the left and you'll get a history of the car and what I plan to do to it.
